What did you do to your Coronet this Week ....???
JimKueneman Wrote:don99pablo, if you want to see the full story from the beginning I am sharing the gory details on the FBBO forums. I only post the highlights here.

Jim, Cool deal, I am on FBBO as well, but post more about the car here. I will check out your build. I really like watching peoples journies, really cool. I have a few topics I plan to post there to get some advice on as I am a complete noob when it comes to the mechanical part; like swapping my rear end from a 4.10 to a 3.23 or 3.55, and what to do to winterize my car.

"Winterize", that is a term from the past! For me winterize means not turning the AC on and maybe sliding the temperature slider towards the "warm" side a bit more Smile

Today I took the brackets off my bumper so I could straighten out a dent it had. It came out good with only a small crease showing. I'm going to take the brackets to work and glass bead them next week.

I sold a couple of things last week so I had enough to order the basic seal kit from Just Mopar. It has the door seals, roof rail, and trunk seal. I'll post pictures when I install them.

Today after work I started to get ready for a benifit car show this Sunday. It's a show and toy drive for under privileged children that a friend of mine puts on every year, even though his club is a Corvette club I still support the toy drive. And at least I don't bring another belly button, I mean chevy. Lol. So I went over the passenger side looking for any place I missed when I buffed the paint out. And I found the sail panel needed some more work so I redid it. Then I started polishing the rims. It's been some time since I have done them and they are worse than I thought. Even though they looked ok, when I shined a light on them you could see the dullness. So three hours later I got the passenger side done. At least until I get it out in the sun, I hate this dark at 5:30 crap.
Wish me luck I'll be the only mopar in a sea of chevys most likely.
