I put a new battery in mine.
If a man speaks while in his garage and his wife does not hear it, is he still wrong?
What did you do to your Coronet this Week ....???

Painted and cleared the rear panels just need to put them back in. Got side tracked with a pathfinder I bought for my daughter. Found a short in the lighting system I'm thinking for the alarm system. Here's a picture.

Figured out the inoperable gas gauge. Took the sending unit out and ran the arm up and down which made the needle move. Ok maybe not enough fuel. Just about to put the sending unit back in and noticed a sloshing noise... Float was half full! The hole was microscopic as it would only wet a small spot after wiping it. This was a brand new Mopar sender that's been in a box for 15 years. The local dealer had a new float for $9 and it did the trick. Such a good feeling to fix something and cheaply too! I was worried I was gonna have to drop the tank again to get the sender out but there is plenty of room.

Assembled the front suspension and steering components. Practiced cutting and buffing the the front door and front fender...
