What did you do to your Coronet this Week ....???
Yeah the plastic 3 spoke was the standard wheel, that 3 spoke wood grain was an option. I believe the cap is correct also. Here is mine.9036]9037]

I re-chromed the old pitted plate frame using model car foil chrome. Then hand painted the letters back in. Our car was bought there and wore this since day one!
The chrome foil stuff could be used on the dash too now that I think of it! There are two different brands of the stiff and the one i used is Bare Metal Ultra Bright Chrome. Another brand i tried on model cars was thicker and different adhesive which made it difficult to work with on small intricate parts.

Looks good, I did my dash with Bare Metal Foil.

Should this stuff be used to re mirror tail housings? I've always used chrome paint which is basically gloss silver and had great results.

Definitely could be. Only trick would be wrinkles in contoured surfaces.

I moved out the car to put up the plastic so I can paint the car tomorrow but 10 minutes later it started to rain so I had a change of plans. So I worked on the front and rear R/T emblems. I went to hobby lobby to get some paint yesterday. So here's how they turned out. I didn't do the black just the red. I ended up mixing two colors to get it but it probably could have used a little orange too.

Epoxy primered and painted the front end components. Installed Energy Suspension and Hotchkis bushings and new Moog upper ball joints. The steering link and K-frame is next then the rest of the Moog parts go on.

This evening after work I started to polish the front and rear bumpers. Unfortunately I can't post any pictures for some reason. I had this problem before, some will load and some won't. I get a message saying that I need to compress them manually and reload. But I'm technically challenged. I use my phone for everything because it's usually easier but I haven't figured out this problem. I even tried to reset my phone parameters for pictures but no dice. Anyway I hope the pictures load when it's buffed and put together.
