Is the firewall different on a factory power brake car?
#1
I was told when inquiring at Mancini about a booster that the firewall was different. I am of the understanding the backing plate is different but not the firewall itself. I know this is true with a factory air car.

The brake area is the same, at least on one that I've worked on. I converted my blue car to power years ago.

The hole in the firewall is the same but the stiffener plate is different between power & manual. I was told this by another DCR'r but I'm not 100% convinced there is plate difference.
