What did you do to your Coronet this Week ....???
Looked for different backdrops to photograph the Coronet. It's kind of hard to make a green car pop when you live in a forest.Wink

Rebuilt the power steering pump and dropped the line pressure... that was fun, much easier than I expected

Easy Peasy Huh Mike, I did Jims Belvedere a while back. One seal, an o ring, and some washer seals.

Yea.. hardest part was finding a rotor that wasn't all scored up.

And remembering to put the vanes back the right way!

I had 4 O-rings.. was yours a Federated pump?

I may have considered some of the O rings washer seals. It was a TRW.

I didn't notice the vanes only went one way at first either, then I got out my glasses! I feel like Steve!

I just finished rebuilding the vacuum heater/AC switch for Jims car. Talk about intricate! I couldn't do anything without glasses on that thing. I cut it apart, then used #4 screws to put it back together. After all was said and done, I figured out the damn switch worked, some one messed up the vacuum hose routing to each diaphragm. DUH! What a waste of time that was. At least Jim's switch works smoothly now.
