On the positive side, you will meet the nicest group of people all with a passion for speed when Drag Racing and I miss that allot.

Agreed Andy. I drag raced from 1971 through 1997 and loved every minute of it.

Me too, guys like Ronnie Sox and Buddy Martin, Dick Landy, Bob Marshall, Tom Hoover and the rest of the Ramchargers, Don Nickilson, Arlen Vanke, Dave McCullan, and yes, even Bill Jenkins!!

I'd also add Bob Riggle (Hurst Hemi Under Glass cars) who my son and I met back in the 90's and talked with. A VERY nice gentleman indeed who REALLY appreciated all of his many fans!
I also met and talked to Darrell Alderman many years ago and he was also a very nice gentleman.
