Help on removing headlight swicth

I'm having trouble removing the headlight bezel from my 440 Dash is there a trick to it ? I can get the wipers and washer side of the up but not where the headlight an dimmer swicthes are

Just above the steering wheel an below the The speedometer cluster there's a puzzle that houses the windshield wiper dimmer flashers windshield wiper and washer pump basil I'm having trouble removing it seems to be hanging up on the headlight switch

You may be referring to the faceplate for the instrument cluster. If so, I believe that it is held in place by 5 screws. One screw is in the upper left hand corner above the light switch. Once all the screws are removed it should lift off from the dash.

Yep the bezel..of the switch..I re read your post..I see what you mean now.

IN this photo (i know not very close..But my car is in my storage for winter now..), you can see the headlight knob. The surround or bezel needs a tool to open it. But I have done it with careful use of a pair of small needle nose pliers. Put each end of the pliers in a slot opposite to each other, then twist..The bezel will begin to unscrew..Smile

Thank you my is a 1969 the placement is same as the 67 but has rocker style headlight swicthes will look for the screw under the padding in the top left coroner

Sorry, if I was confused and gave you the wrong info. I was thinking that you have Ralleye style cluster.
