What did you do to your Coronet this Week ....???
Great shot! I am assuming a decent DLSR took this? DOF looks nice.

OK I am officially scared!

Let me try and answer these questions..

1- The car has the following factory options: Power Windows, Front bucket Head rests, Power steer.
2- Its the original motor, gearbox (727) and diff. 3.23:1
3- Car was BC/CC on the outside panels only. All other paint is original.
4- Wheels are 14" Tyres: P225 70 R14 98S BF's..

@thebankerstory - I am now going to be very careful with those switches. DO you have any other tips for maintaining them or the window mechanisms?

Wow Tek - that is a nice car, those '15 Chrome Magnums are the perfect wheels for the '66/'67 body. One day I'll get some for mine.

Be careful when you do... I bought a set of Magnums for my 66 (Craigs List). Turns out they were Ford Magnum rims and they had a deeper offset (than the Mopar) that caused the front rims to rub the upper control arms.
I had to install wheel adapters to push them out an inch... didn't want to use adpaters (or spacers), but I REALLY wanted to install them.

Maybe thats why my conrtol arm smacks my rim when i turn left only..not right just left... whered you get your adaptors? lol

Andy would be better at this than me, but assuming both rims are the same, they should either hit or not hit the rim on both left and right turns. Everything should be the same on both sides.

NICE CAR BY THE WAY... looks exactly like mine with those mag wheels and white letter tires! Smile

There's "adapters" and "spacers"... I read a bunch of forums and did "online" research on both... and chose the adapters. Looking back, I think spacers would have been easier to install.
The studs that were on the adapters I got, were a different size than my studs on the car... this caused me issues and I had to chase down "left hand thread" lug nuts and it's been a bit of a mess.

I do FINALLY have everything I need to properly install these magnums, but it's been a bit of an adventure (they now know me by first name at O'Reillys and Napa)

I went through this site http://www.lugmanusa.com (free shippimng)

If you do get adapters, make sure you get them with 1" diameter studs and you should be fine.
Or, just get spacers... spacers won't need additional lugs as you just take the wheel off, put on the spacer and put the wheel back on.
