What did you do to your Coronet this Week ....???
ws27 Wrote:I was trying to come up with an appropriate comment on that and as usual Richard nailed it. LOL

As the great Yogi Berra would say, "it's like deja-vu all over again"! Rofl

That is correct Richard - they drove nails thru the floor to hold the carpet down. Nails and lots of spray adhesive too. Blew my mind when I saw it. So now the interior guy along with the paint and body man who worked on this car should be hung from their toenails...

I've done a few things this week..

Firstly I purchased a complete 'fastener and screw kit'
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...0664952361

And went around my car and compared all my screws etc. to the ones in the kit. I made replacements here and there where the last owner had used 'close' but not correct screws.

I changed my dimmer switch for a new one. Yay! I have low beams again! Wink

Changed my dashboard voltage regulator for one of these:

Works really well!

Changed my Oil sender unit.

Changed my temp sensor

And was notified that my recently ordered brand new door cards and rear seat trim cards and also Coronet car mat set, from Legendary Auto Interiors have been shipped to me already! Great! Something to do now that I have to put her away for the winter. Sad

I guess that this would be a bad time to mention that it's been in the low 60's in the mornings lately and in the low 80's for the afternoon highs here in Phoenix this past week or so, which some would consider perfect weather to take an older Mopar convertible out for a nice drive huh Rich? (the scene fades to black with hysterical, almost sinister laughter in the background!)

Mike, we really need the mooning guy back, somehow he never made it to the new board.

It would be very appropriate right about now...
