Thanks Mike and that makes sense. I guess that I'm just confused on what applications the "hydraulic roller" lifters are used on.

It's just another way of activating valves. Much more efficient than a flat tappet. They've been available since the 60's, and OEM's have been using them since the 90's on V8's and V6's
I love Mopars so much I'm date coding the skid marks in my underwear.

My coronet sat lonely in the garage while I have been cheating on it in Carlisle. I peek in on her from time to time with my spy cam though...one day I will actually get my motor dropped in....but certainly not this week.

This week I installed a new Yearone M & H dash harness. That was actually last night. Drove it to a couple of cruises today. Probably a little over a hundred miles round trip. The amp guage was acting a little hinky right when I started it. It seemed to go a little too high on the charge side and actually fluctuated like a tach for a few. I checked the battery voltage with the car off at 12.93v. It was too late last night to let it run longer than a minute.
Like I said I drove it today and the guage went to the middle and moved just a little both ways all day. I'm a happy camper!!
