What did you do to your Coronet this Week ....???
Don't want to look too close on these cars. It looks great you did a fine job.

It looks great. I think all cars were poorly aligned at the trunk/qtr. extension area. You can't adjust too much since it's all welded together.

I remember spending a few nights tweaking everything on my silver car.

ALSO...what's up with most 66-67's and the fit of the trunk to the qtr extension on the right side?? Ours sticks out past and a lot of others I've seen are the same way. I have the trunk all the way forward and anymore would make the front gap too tight anyways.

Mine is also tight at the passenger side front edge of the lid. I thought that something might be bent around the hinge but didn't see anything .

Remember, these cars weren't perfect when they left the factory!
Objects quickly DISAPPEAR in the rearview mirror and PLEASE stay seated until the ride comes to a complete stop!!

Apparently this flywheel is used to being babied and driven on and off a trailer.. not doing smokey holeshots..

Looks like I win the race with a by run, I was hoping for a close call .

I sprayed on $100 worth of primer, and sanded off $90 worth of primer….. for the 3rd time Smile

I also block sanded and reprimed my car

I painted my base coat and tried to add stripes. They were a nightmare (my fault) but I got the front ones saved. The rear ones need one more wet sanding in the morning and a few more coats… My Coronet has an identity crisis with a RoadRunner Smile
