What did you do to your Coronet this Week ....???
Yes sir, our old big block powered Coronets don't get "miles per gallon", they get "stations per mile"! LOL!

Max was running perfect so decided to mess with it a couple weeks ago, I went too lean with the metering rods and springs and it started pinging. HHHMM never pinged before.

So this weekend I put it back where it was when I bought the carb's new in 1983 and it runs perfect again .WOW

Now that the snow is gone, I pulled the Stromberg 2bbl from the 318 Poly in my '66 and rebuilt it. I got the kit from Mike's Carburetor Parts in Rochester Wa and it worked great. All the parts I needed were there and correct. A couple of years ago, I purchased a Vacuum pull off for the same carb from Mike's and it too worked & fit perfectly. A good company to deal with even if the shipping costs are very high. Back in March, still knee deep in snow (I'm in Ontario), I also installed the Pertronix Ignitor II coil to go with the Pertronix II module and power relay that I had installed last year. 1st time out today & the car works great - starts well, runs smooth & no more hesitation off idle.

I'm a happy guy!
