Second time. Didn't check installed valve height. Didn't meet clearance specs. Valves apparently not sealing properly. Shoddy work overall.
Second guy-redoing all the work of the first guy. All new valves, seals and guides for the second time this year.
Engine was entirely rebuilt this year.
Hopefully the first shop refunded your money for not providing the work you paid for?

For some unknown reason, nobody seems to take me seriously............

Thats terrible, I hope all goes well now and you get to drive soon.....this year
Took the Challenger for a ride to have some fun. It was a blast until the shifter handle broke off in my hand after hitting 3rd gear! That car is a riot to drive! I was about 20 miles from home. There was about 1.2 inches if shifter sticking out of the trans. It was a pain in the ass, but I was able to shift from 3rd to 4th and back to 3rd. I was lucky enough to not have to stop at traffic lights on the way home. The shifter just held on by the boot. Tonights plan: See whats broke!!
I did my best to entertain myself on here while waiting for the Paperwork to come back about my old car. This really isn't easy. I am very afraid that I will make some ungodly offer to get my old car back that I can't afford. I may need a 12-Step Sponsor. Or would that be a 12-Second Sponsor? Sheesh...See I'm doing it again!! lol God Help me! Oh Great, this gives me another idea for a Post.... Here I go Again! lol
One of the bolts that holds the shifter handle to the shifter came out and the other bolt was loose! It has a tremec 5 speed. I never drove a car with a tremec before and thought the shifter was suppose to be sloppy. After installing new bolts I lost about 2 inches of shifter travel.
