		Should be right size. They fit the water pump just fine. I could try snipping an inch and add some more sealant and I have a few more of those oem style clamps that hadn't been used yet. 		Sealant is the wrong application for this.  Are the clamps the right size?  I thought I recently read where some of the repo clamps were too big and some folks were buying some from McMaster Carr and they fit well and looked original.
