Power brakes-vacuum hose to carb or intake?
#1
Where would a stock hose hook to? There is a port on our intake with a plug in it. Is this where a nipple would be or would it be on the carburetor?

An old post, so you've probably already worked this out. From intake. An interesting tidbit I learned was that in the early 67 RT production, the line ran out of big block boosters, and borrowed some from the Hemi shelf. So some of us ended up with hemi boosters and master cylinders. Doesn't increase the car value, but does increase the cost of rebuilding them. Smile

I also discovered that an A body MC fits right on it, and will work for about a tenth of a mile before locking up the fronts and only the fronts. (rod adjustment no help) I had to stop several times and bleed the front line off the MC with a 9/16 wrench to get back home.

I might be wrong but I think you'll find that in 67 all big block B-bodies with power disc.(all disc were power) had the Hemi booster. I have a 67 Charger 440 4SPD with the Hemi booster and a 67 Coronet 500 383 2BBL with it too. Both cars are disc. I should check date though...

You might be correct ws27. I was parroting what the "Ram Man" told me on the phone. I'm no expert on these things by any means. Looking through other RT photos, I only see MC's with the ports on the fender side too. (also hemi from what I was told)

My friend's 68 383 GTS Dart had factory manual disc brakes, I hadn't heard of that, I thought they were all power.
