Rear air suspension?
#1
Ok, wicked newbie question. My 1965 Coronet has this air valve on the rear bumper. I poked around in my tech services manual and online and it's some type of rear air suspension. Could not find a lot of details on it. I will climb under tomorrow and see if anything connected to it. If there is, anyone know what the psi settings for it are? I expect it to have been ripped out, more curious that anything else. Thank you.

What you have there is an air fitting for air shocks. If you look at the rear shocks and they have rubber bellows around them try airing them up. If you don't see the bellows then the shocks were removed to put a stock type shock back in. (no air shocks were installed at the factory)
If your friend Jack helped you off a horse....... Would you help your friend Jack off a horse?
