I am by no means an electrical expert..infact they kinda scare me.. lol...
whats the best way to wire the light in my oil pressure gauge so i can see it at night?
I may have more questions soon as my in dash charge gauge ins not working..maybe you can help with that too

No need to fear.
I assume you have a gauge with a light? I assume its a two wire light Black and a White wire?
Your instructions should say what wire is the + wire and the other wire -.
On a simple setup like this. You can use either wire for positive and the other for negitive. I like to follow the manufactures instructions.
Ground one wire. and power the other wire to the ORANGE wire found behind the dash.
The ORANGE wire is the dash lighting wire that feeds all dash lights thru the dimmer ( adjustable brightness )
Also use a inline fuse incase there is trouble. it will pop the fuse and not your car.

its red and black but like you said it doesnt matter... and what is an easy way to tie it in...thats another thing i always worry about..and one of the grounds is on the column right? where the black wire with writing on it goes to?

Your ground can be anywhere you can bolt/screw to metal.
You can find that orange wire going to the heater controls and radio area with the glove box liner removed

What about the orange wire by the column? i also have an orange wire just laying in my dash with a light socket attached to it..could i just tap that for it?
