Wiper blades/ Wiper Arm.
#1
So I went into orielys today to see about getting wiper blades and he said he didn't carry them. The ones he showed me on the screen didn't look like mine so he came out to take a look. He says it looks like someone rigged something up and I would need the wiper arm including the prefill blade. (The whole black peace that attached to the arm that moves up and down.)

Now the confusion. I looked on rock auto. And when I look up wiper arm it shows me the grey metal arm that attaches to the car. I'm pretty sure I don't need these and both of them on my car work fine?

The guy at orielys indicated I needed the entire black piece replaced. But every thing I look at on rock auto shows this in the picture.

This is what he said I needed to replace - http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo...cc=1403154

But does this whole item come with this, or is it just the blade?

Any help is appreciated.

Or, did he mean this - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Anco-4103-Wiper-...5d35d4368c

Looking at this one mine looks nothing like it. I will go down and get some pictures of mine here in a bit so someone can tell me if mine are messed up.

You don't need the wiper arm (the ebay link). That's the regular wiper arm for your car.

You just need the full wiper blade like is in the Rockauto link

Hate to say this.
The wiper refills are not around. And with quality arms for every type of car.
Safety comes first.
I have a pic of my arms off my 67. Rubber is shot!
I bought new 15 inch Blades from The Orrielys store. and they clicked right in place! Work Great!
I could have painted them? But I did not do it and nobody notices it either..

Just pick up the 15 inch bayonet style arms. Paint them as you need to...

Wiper arms and refills have changed over the years.

Today's wipers fit our old cars and work better than the old stuff.

Can't say it any better than that

Buy the 15 inch blade.. Click it on your wiper arm! Done!

Just to clarify, your pic is of a correct origional style wiper blade, not arm. The arm goes from the pivot to the blade.

Blades have the rubber piece with them, but the rubber piece is called a refill. (I know, the rubber seems like it should be called the blade, but it's not.)

Now, refills are available for your origional blades if you want to go through the trouble. But for cmnsales, getting refills for those plastic replacement baldes will be next to impossible.

The origional blades with rubbers are repopped too, but not needed for a driver.
