New to the board and building a 67 Coronet 440 with my boys
#1
783780784781785782Hello I am Brendan and I am a father of 2 boys Drake age 8 and Charlie age 12. A few weeks ago I sold my BMW and picked up a 67 Coronet for a project to build with my boys. It has a 383 4b engine, 727 auto trans, (was a 4 spd car) 8 3/4 rear end, bench seat. It has a new bright yellow paint job, all new seals and bumpers for the body, new front disc conversion, trans is rebuilt, in the process of redoing the dash. We love the car and will make it our daily driver soon. For now we drive a loaner 85? nissan pile of !@#$. We are looking for parts and to meet cool people who also love Mopars. It is my kids first build and we are making progress fast as I am out of work at the moment. I looked at this site a month ago looking for info. on the 67 before we got it. We are also on the for b bodys only forum. Tonight I was looking on line with my son Drake and he told me to join this site. I already had but had not posted till tonight. Hello to all and Drake says hi and he loves Coronets! Charlie is at his moms for the week but will introduce himself when he gets back Friday. Thanks for looking. Brendan Charlie and Drake

I see the pictures now, if that was a factory 4 speed car, that is the 6th 383-440 model 4 spd I can account for. (not that that matters its just a quest I've been on for years. now I only have to find the other 496 cars)

Solid car, I hope you enjoy your stay here

Piper here is the door tag # WH23F75 165926. She is a 440 had a 318, high trim LA car. My dad was a Mopar guy Darts D100s etc. I first drove and worked on his Dart with him as a kid at the age of 5. Dad is gone now. My uncle Bruce raced a 69 factory Dart and owned one of the team Starfish barracudas. He spends time with my boys but is old and in poor health but still awesome! Raised in a Mopar home left me with good mems and want to leave my kids with the same so I figured it was time for me to return to my roots. As for parts I put up a posting in the wanted section. I didn't include the wish list: bucket seats, 4 spd trans, bell housing, clutch, r/t tail section, posi third member, console, disc rear conversion as I am a single parent building her on a budget. I just want to fix what we got for now. After the dash we will strip and repaint the interior, strip the black paint off her moldings and tap out the dings sand/polish out the stainles, carpet, headliner, and rechrome the bumpers and sail trims. Thanks for the welcome.

Get a big boat, (no, not an Imperial), load it up with food and Beer, well maybe water and set sail for lands afar! Ahoy matey! All kidding aside, that disaster is waiting in the wings for the BIG ONE! Vancouver Island could do the same thing.
