1969 Coronet 500 Convertible
#1
Hi All, 'thought I would add a picture of my new baby. I do have a few questions about it as well.
I was wondering if my power antennae was likely dealer installed? I do not see it as an option for this car. Maybe I am wrong and it was an option?
I was told that power antennae's were for a couple other models that year but not the Coronet.

Car has factory AC, all window tint, power windows, right side mirror, am/fm radio, power top, glass back window, light package, trim package, R6 red with white interior, console with buckets, 383 engine with cast iron (?) exhaust manifold.

Any information about this car would be great. Like what does the light package offer? I have a map light and trunk light, console lights and back wall lights.

Happy motoring.36823683368436853686

Really pretty 69 vert. Beautiful car and great red on red color combo. I'm sure its not quite stock, but the 1968 Coronet 500 chrome strips around the quarter panel side scoops, are a nice addition the factory should have installed on all the 69 Coronet 500s.

Welcome 31, what a nice 69 you've got. I love all the options, nicely decked out. Power drum brakes and the clock are options too I believe.

Congrats on your exceptional taste in cars and welcome to the site. Lots of good people and info here.

I've been following and tracking '69 Coronet convertibles for a while and there aren't that many out there. This appears to be car WP27H9G202***.

The power antenna is an add on. Most of the data and color and trim books are posted on Hamtramck Historical. You'll find answers to a lot of questions there. http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/library-2.shtml

Hi All,
Well 69 Coronetrt you are right it does have that serial number you suggested, and then it ends with 279.
This is a completely original California car. I believe it was built in St. Louis.
Also, thank you for the web link, I will check it out.
I will also post a picture of my fender tag. I have the build sheet from behind the back seat. It appears all the options I have on the car came with it when it was built. I believe it even had on the build sheet to put two horns in it (which it has), an upgraded radiator (because of the ac), and a trim package which I assume included the chromed quarter panel side scoops.

Thanks again for the link

If anyone can help me decode my fender tag that would be great.
I see R6 twice, maybe for exterior and interior colours, and white interior.
Any other info would be welcomed.
