Round bar shifter options
#1
Hello Lads

Question: I want to find a replacement round bar shifter, I have the after market style hurst mechanism with the 2 holes (not the factory style slip in) This shifter nails my hand in 3rd against the dash, I found something I think is close to what the factory shifter would be for a 68 + B Body although much shorter( about 6 inches)

Here is what I have now...any thoughts?

How about a different mounting plate to kick it back some, or reshape your handle below boot.

That's might thoughts too.

I can weld some more material on the mounting part then redrill for a different angle. Or move it back. Easy job.
