Couple of questions
#1
I should probably post on a Charger forum, but hey.. you guys know me plus and I can ask dumb questions and use run on sentences with no grammar what so ever and some how yous understand me...

ok today's subject is the Dodge Charger,

First question is the bulkhead has a couple mystery wires(pictured) I think its for a wiper(at least what I can make from the wiring diagrams) however..the wiper is hooked up and working fine, looks like someone chopped into it at once time or another..any ideas what they are..I want to start cleaning up the engine bay(top row two wires at the right)

next, I hooked up the tti exhaust, leaks worse then a submarine with screen doors. I need to know what everyone else uses with these headers (too long of a bolt wont work they hit the tube in some places) I tried the percy gaskets ..sounds like a friggin helicopter is landing on the roof

also tail pipes don't fit out of the box..(thought they might ha) is this anyone else experience?

and finally, I just (sloppily) ran the trans lines, anything neat and tidy I can using other then wire ties I got to figure out how to get them out of the way from the steering linkage and headers (everything is in the way with these headers....next time..manifolds)

Hard to tell from the picture which bolt it is, but sometimes with headers you have to back the header away from the flange, insert the bolt and then tighten the bolt so the header and bolt meet the head together. I use studs on the outside bolt holes to support the header while doing this.
I love Mopars so much I'm date coding the skid marks in my underwear.

Wire connector could be for hood mounted turn signal indicators

I ran my trans cooler lines along the left frame rail down to the torsion bar crossmember then over the header collector and back forward to the trans fittings - works good. I also wrapped insulation around the hoses where they go over the exhaust.

On those header leaks - make sure the bolts arent too long and bottoming out before actually tightening the flange.

thanks for the input! I see they make a heat sleeve that will slip over the hoses, also mystery solved those wires are for the air conditioning
