I replaced the pins on one of mine. It came out so so - couldn't believe how much they wanted for new hinges though.

[quote=badmopar67]When i was redoing my car i went to the junk yard and noticed that the 80's dodge vans were the same as my 67's and not wore out do to the doors are shorter and don't kill the hinges so bought two bottom hinges in like new condition for 5 dollars each they are exact matches. I think the top hinge are the same too.let us know how you make out.[/QUOoing TE]
Thanks for the tip - I'm going to check this out.

Bought new pins for mine but had the body shop fit them and am very happy with the result. Worth the extra to have fitted in my book.

Jeff, easy as pie, get a set of pins with bushings. If you want any tips, give me a call.

I re pinned mine on my 67. The only problem was that the old owner let it go and the pin ate into mother metal.
The lower hinge bushing hole was a big oval! Hibbing_Coronet_500 Wrote:I re pinned mine on my 67. They won't be listed for the car per say, but you should be able measure some up.

Thank you Rich for your rebuild tips, I did all the hinges on my convertible, and the drivers door hinges on the "flying brick".
