The Max build = 1967 R/T 440 4-speed Dana-60
Yep, bright red vintage Coronets are sure hard to notice and see on the road right Andy? Rolleyes

Glad to hear that you got everything in Max's brake system back in order.

Drove Max to work today first time since brake hose repair. Brake pads were squeaky tell they heated up and stopped much better, so I think the fronts were barely working with restricted hoses.

7225] I knew I kept these receipts somewhere. They are for my two 500cfm Carter Comp. carbs (not hol. like it says)that to this day are still on Max. Best carbs on the world Smile

Other was for the American Racing Daisy wheels I loved the look of back in the day, they started peeling chrome where the aluminum spoke are after about five years so I took them off. They went on my `73 Challenger for a while after that.

Super Shops was a great place to go hang out, so many cool parts to drool over, smell of race fuel right when you walk in the door. I am not Worthy

Had one Super Shop location here in Phoenix, but it's been gone for many years now Mike. I never did much business with them as they were mostly into Chevrolets and Fords and not so much into Mopars.

11010]Here is an old pic of the T-bird I got my set of wheels off. I was out driving Max this last weekend and decided to visit a friend that I helped restore this car and on the back side of a cabinet door he had this pic of the car the day he bought it. 1980. He did not want to use the wheels since was going all original , so I traded some labor for them. I was a happy camper to have a complete matching set of these for Max, my search was over.

They have been on my car for a while now just thought it was cool to see a old pic of the car they came on when the lady bought them new back in the 60s.

American Racing Torque Thrust D 15x7 they just clear the Bendix 4-piston calipers
