I have a question to throw out there.i recently replaced fuel tank with new sender.gas gauge didnt work prior was hoping new sender would correct.well heres the question i read that the sender needs to be grounded, but...as the old the new sender has a rubber seal between it and the tank so how does it ground thanks in advance because i know someone has the answer
The one connection wire should be feed for the gauge, leave that alone.
Try an alligator clip connected to a metal part of sender somewhere to a frame piece of metal just to see if you on the right track.
Sorry if don't explain well.
