So anyway Rich, did you purchase one of the Canadian produced fuel tanks for your 66? They are high quality tanks that will give you years of trouble free service my friend. I think that my other good friend Rich will agree with me Rich..........ok, so who wants to be called Jake Blues and who wants to be called Elwood Blues?

Good to know that Rock Auto carries the Canadian made fuel tanks for the 1966-1967 Coronets Mike. I've never done business with them, but I hear very good feedback about them.

By the way Rich, you should also replace all of the fuel tank filler tube and fuel tank vent tube rubber elbow hoses as well when you install the new fuel tank and fuel lines. If Rock Auto doesn't carry them, below is an Ebay link to a Mopar retailer that I've dealt with several times over the years that sells them and is where I purchased a set for my 66 back in 2015. Do yourself a favor though, toss the lousy factory style clamps that they give you with this hose kit and use some high quality stainless clamps.

Various companies are also reproducing the fuel tank filler tube and fuel tank vent tubes that connects the body fuel door opening to the fuel tank, as well as the insulator pad that is placed between the top of the fuel tank and the bottom of the trunk floor pan if you need replacements. I also have an excellent source for either a 5/16" or 3/8" fuel tank mounted fuel sending unit if you need a new one. Just let me know and I'll give you links for any of these parts that you might need ok my friend?

Seeing that you're going to be running a 440 to replace the original 361 2 barrel engine, I'd recommend that you upgrade from your cars original 5/16" steel fuel lines to the larger 3/8" sized fuel lines. If you do that upgrade, make sure to also purchase a matching 3/8" fuel tank mounted sending unit.

This car was at an estate auction the weekend I left for Arizona so I was not able to be there. . A buddy of mine spotted the car a local auto repair shop that I know well. A phone call to the shop found out the new owner just wanted them to get it started so he could flip it. I contacted the owner and was able to make a deal. It was kept inside so there is very little rust and the interior is almost perfect. Still with the factory floor mats and rim blow steering wheel. It has a/c, tilt- telescoping steering column, cruise, am/fm radio, p/s and power disc brakes. I usually don't go after wagons but I didn't want it to end up a demolition derby car. So now I have this to get road along with my 66.
