New 68 Coronet R/T Dude
#1
[Image: imagejpeg]
New to the forum and the Coronet. Been shopping for 3 years finally found my dream project. Lots O questions. Trying to post pics with my phone looks iffy.
68 Coronet R/T, B5 blue, factory 4 speed, dana, black interior,w/dics up front. It's missing a few things like the original motor and 18 spline Hemi 4 speed. Has a 440 70 block and 23 spline. Plan is to get her road Worthy and nicely finish the interior in the near future.
Dash question? Can't find the plastic piece over the glove box with verticle gray ghost stripes that I believe is correct for a non rally dash rt. Anyone repop these? Looking for ideas.

Got yourself a nice car there, the boy likes it I see.

Try Classic Industries for the dash part or hunt on ebay

Thanks, I can find the 68 GTX trim piece all day but no luck at classic industries, or year one for the correct R/T piece.
The eBay hunt continues

The 1968-1970 non rallye dash parts aren't popular with the aftermarket parts suppliers, but at least they are offering the one year only 1968 B-Body dash pads in black, red, tan and blue if you, or any other 68 B-Body owner needs one.
