I have a 1969 Dodge Coronet 440, I ordered the Mechanics Manual and haven't recieved yet. Is it true you have to remove the Windshield to remove the dash??

YES IT IS! The top bolts are countersunk and you can't get to them without removing the windshield.

Nope. When I restored my car I forgot and installed my brand new AMD glass and had to removed it and them put it back in.

Agreed, the rear row of bolts that secure the metal dashboard shell to the body are located underneath the windshield and it's related mouldings and gasket.

If you're thinking of replacing your cars headliner, now would be the time as it's easier to replace with the windshield out of the car.
