coronet emblem placement on 1965

willpost some soon the car is buried in the garage havent done much with it since i bought it 9 years ago it was hit in the drivers rear quarter and it has taken me a while to find parts as im sure most of you already know the drill but hopefully i will have it road Worthy for spring just curious if any body knows if the repop defrost grills are the same ones used for the rear window defogger

If the front dashboard mounted defroster vent nozzles look like the reproduction ones below in your 1965 Coronet, then no, the rear window defogger vent nozzle and cover would not be the same part. I don't have any pictures of a rear window defogger unit for a 1965 Coronet to show you here, but maybe another member will and can share it with us.

just getting back got the car dug out of the corner would like to get started again but we all know how life is still have plans to drive it this summer on the placement of the emblems they seem to be in the same location as the base model coronet emblems it looks like they just added the 500 to it it is definately different than the 440 as far as the car it wasassmbled in st louis and the vin starts 179 which from the info i have seenwould make it later in the run am wondering maybe if it was built late if all they had was base unit fenders that they used and added the 500 emblem as that would be easier than filling holes and redrilling it any thoughts
