Be mindfull: Disc Brake kits that can he had via catalog or Internet are for a 15" wheel. Don't buy 14s then plan on Discs.
From my research, Disc Brake set up off of a junk yard "A" body with 14 inch wheels is the only way to get 14 inch wheel with Disc Brakes.
I could be wrong? Just means do your homework!

Did some homework for ya. You will need to either buy a swedge cutting tool or bring those drums into a shop that has that cutter.
When the stud is pressed in at the factory they mushroomed the shank of the knurl to basically act like a cold rivet to lock hub to the drum.
If you don't cut the swedged area away? When you pound the stud out? You will ruin the hubs knurled spline and your new studs will be sloppy in the hub or you might have to get different sized knurled studs. In all sounds like a big pain in the butt!
research or google drum brake swedge cutting tool.
Other option? Drill from the back side. Then chisle off the head and punch out the stud from the back.

Being your in the Twin Cities? I'd look for a long standing clutch and brake shop that's been in the business for along time.
Drop those puppy's off and tell them what you need done and you won't get the blank stare in return. Tell them you want to re stud them with a little longer stud and keep the 1/2 X 20 threads. And remind them that the swedge needs to be cut before pressing or BFH is used.

There's a MOPAR shop in Hugo that I've been following on facebook... Sharadon Performance.

My plan is to get this all taken care of at once.

I've got the wheels and tires picked out, just need to order them and then have the car towed up to their shop and have them do all of that for me.

I contacted them through facebook and showed them what I was dealing with, pointed out the little "swedge" and they said it won't be a problem. Smile

I made a couple of stud swedge cutters that work quite well. In case anyone ever needs help getting the swedge cut off just let me know.

I have the Ford rims on my car as well...they used to rub like that..till i had the wheel weights put on the outside and since then ive not had any issues..

Yeah the rub on my 67 with ford 500 wheels is so slight. I run a 1/4 spacer.

I'm not sure where my post went, but you can use a 1/2 inch hole saw. It's just the right size. Only problem is you have to cut into the drum I believe.
