How about telling the Coronet crowd about what´s in that big block in that shiny red beast? What little our curious eyes see, tell us it is not stock. I ask because I am racing my ´66 Charger and sometimes get the idea of putting the Charger engine into my Coronet since it is lighter. Currently running 11.80´s on stock regular (i.e. not soft compound, drag radials nor slicks) Firestone Firehawks, because the class I run in forbids racing tires.

Thanks for asking
Its a 440 with a solid Scott Brown Cam, I had an 850 on it but could never get it to lean out enough where my clothes didnt stink of fumes there is a 750 on it now not as much power but its moves with a 4 speed and a 4.30 gear video from a few months back you can hear the motor https://youtu.be/1VPIsBN89rg

Hello everyone, I was lucky enough to ride in this car with Piper on Friday night at Carlisle...man it'll pin you in the seat when he drops the hammer on those gears! Bang, bang, and bang...followed by big s!
Thanks for the hospitality Kevin! You and the rest of the Coronet gang were very generous and welcoming!!! |
