does a 1969 a12 (440 six pack) car have a fan clutch?
#1
Ran into some issues. I am hoping you guys can help me out? Did 1969 440 automatic cars with a 22" radiator have a fan clutch?
If not what other way did the cooling fan mount to the water pump? Need your immediate help so I can buy the proper part.
Thank you all in advance!

Your title states A12 car. An A12 car would have a 26" radiator with the last three digits of 054. The 054 is the same radiator used with the 426 hemi in 1969. All A12 package super bee's and road runners had 4.10 gear dana 60 rears so they all had the max cooling option. It would also use the same cooling fan and clutch as the 426 hemi. They used a 216 fan and an 070 fan clutch. These numbers are the last three digits of the original part numbers. All of these parts are hard to find and expensive when you do find them. Tony D of Tony's parts has repop 070 fan clutches , but it does not look correct compared to the original. Hope this helps explain everything.

Thanks you. I do know a lot about the A12's. My coronet is a 440 with a A12 setup. The difference is the radiator mounting. Since it used to have a 22" I had to use a 22" radiator because I did not change the radiator support. Another thing I noticed is that you say ALL A12's had a dana with 4.10 gears. I could be wrong but I think that if it was an automatic transmission it was a 8 3/4" rear with 4.10 gears. I think dana's wear an option for auto cars?

Is it full rebuilt or does it need to be done?
