Looking for good advise on selling 66
#1
35713570 Thinking about selling my 1966 2dr sedan. I have not had a lot of experience on buy or selling cars. This is a 1966 2dr sedan, was a slant six car. Now has a 1970 hp 383 in it. 727, 8 3/4 rear w/ 3.23. SS springs, disc breaks up front, sway bar. Other goodies as well. Basically I have now clue what the car is worth. This is why I'm looking for help from DCR. What do you all think. I know it is a sedan. So please don't grind on the value difference of a hard top. The car was redone in 2005/06. PPG base coat clear coat, original color.

Was this car at M.I.R last Oct for the Mopar event? (I was there with the F.A.S.T. class) If this is the one I'm thinking of, You have a very nice car. Very well built.
If your friend Jack helped you off a horse....... Would you help your friend Jack off a horse?

I have been kicking around the Idea of taking it to the Mopar swap at indy here in March. Just not sure what the car is worth.

Really I didn't think that high. I was thinking around 20k. Probably take 18.5. Anyone else have any input? The more opinions the better. Really want to make a good decision on what to do.

If I was shopping for a Coronet, I would slow down and check this one out it looks well put together.

25 would be a good start.

Thanks for the info. I'm not sure if i will make it to indy or not. I really do like the comments, i was worried that no one would get involved. it seems when i try to watch the prices of coronets on ebay they are all over the place. I'm not trying to get rich, it may just be time to look for something a little more family friendly. Looking for something with a few more comforts, and maybe a little less go.

Look into a Coronet wagon Lauri sure loves her's.

She can't go two blocks without someone wanting to buy it or just giving thumbs up.
