Here you go Rich, something to go with those new reproduction Inland shifter boots that you've purchased my friend.

Thanks Richard, but that's a little pricey for me. I already have a couple of spares, and not sure if I'm going to use them or the hurst stealthy one.

I know that you have at least 10 of every 1966 and 1967 Coronet part that was ever produced, but you know me, I'm always trying to spend YOUR money my friend! Big Grin

I used the Hurst unit on the trans and a buddy welded the 3 bolt pad to it so I could mount the shifter. I probably gathered up 3-4 Inland shifters and units for rebuilding, but I never had any luck, they just were still "sloppy" when I got done, so that's what I did.

You know Steve, it would be extremely cool if you could write a post and include a few pictures in the "Tech" forum, or the "DIY" forum documenting what and how you did this conversion so that others that would like to do the same could learn from someone who has "been there, done that" you know?

Someone is tooling up a Hurst/Inland shifter conversion for about 250.00., by the time you rechrome the handle and buy a Hurst mech, you're probably going to be close!

One of the two popular four speed vendors (Brewers or Passion) makes them already.
