#1
would like to convert my 66 from drum to disc. Was wondering if anyone knows what year and car and what parts i could use for the swap.

easiest to find-
73-76 a-body
any RWD mopar car in the late 70`s/80`s

get the spindles/lowerball joints, rotors(if they are good) calipers, proportioning valve, and all the nuts/bolts.

I am also planning on this. I was just planning on buying one of the kits from Summit.

Any thoughts? Is it better to buy off an older car?

Both will work... The Summit kit will give you the advantage of the a larger clamping surface with the 4 piston calipers and larger rotors, which should stop you quicker than the A-body swap. Depending on the tires you run, you may actually overpower them with the brakes and take longer to stop than the A-body setup.

The advantage to the A-body swap is you can walk into any parts store in the country and buy parts. I would check with Summit to see if they'll sell you the wear items from their kit individually (pads, rotors, bearings, etc).
I love Mopars so much I'm date coding the skid marks in my underwear.
