what is really funny was was right after that I found the red 500 on eBay, I found the car right after my A12 (mine is 3554, the other one is 3555) on eBay in the same area of California.
Wow AzA12Bee,
I guess our coronets were one after the other on the 'ol assembly line. Changed paint in the painting room and bang then there were two.
Do you now much about your stock radio antennae, I have what I believe is a dealer installed power antennae for my am/fm radio. Were you lucky enough to find your build sheet, mine was behind the back seat apparently when they found it. Was your car coded a "bank car"?
Mine is now up in canada on the west coast. Have not seen another like it.

69 Coronet RT, what you earlier said about E63 implies that any 69 chrylser E63 code car would have a 335Hp engine provided it had no AC ? So the 335HP then is NOT Roadrunner exclusive after all ?

E63 could be the 330 or the 335 hp 383 4 barrels, it depended on the car and if the car had a/c, only Super Bees and Roadrunners got the 335 hp motor all others got the 330
I had a similar one happen to me, I was at a Mopar show down in Bristol TN a few years ago, a guy had a triple white 67 R/T. I always look at the fender tags just for gp and I saw it was built 5-22-67, same as mine. I then checked the VIN# and sure enough the last # on the VIN was one number LOWER then mine, mine's 7 and his was 6, I almost feel over!
Objects quickly DISAPPEAR in the rearview mirror and PLEASE stay seated until the ride comes to a complete stop!!
I am not a pro at this, but it is my understanding that there is a slight difference between the 383 four barrel and the 383 magnum.
My stock air cleaner says "four barrel". There are some 383's out there that say "Magnum" on the air cleaner lid.
Maybe it is the Super Bee and Roadrunner that got the 383 Magnum engines?

Thats neat to notice that Steve what did the owner of his say about that ?
The Idaho Andy I love the smell of race fuel in the morning
There are significant nuances as to which cars got the HP engine assembly between 68-70
A bodies have an HP assembly but they are rated at a lower horsepower.
No C body 335 horse-all were 330 horse with and without A/C
1968- Only Road Runners and Super Bees with either transmission but without A/C got the 335 Horse assembly. A/C RRs and SBs with either transmission got the 330 horse...no 68 Charger or other B body 335 horse cars.
1969- A/C= 330 horse assembly regardless of make or model. Four Speed B bodies (Belvederes, Satellites, Sport Satellites, Coronets, Chargers, Super Bees and Road Runners) = 335 horse. Road Runners and Super Bees with automatics for the 335. All other B bodies got the 330 horse assembly. So a '69 383 four speed Charger or Sport Satellite without A/C would have the 335 horse. Either model with an automatic or with A/C would have the 330 horse.
1970- I'm much more positive with the '68 and 69 model year as to specific applications but A/C is not necessarily a qualifier like it was in '69. There are four speed Chargers with A/C that have the 335 horse engine.
E62 ('68) or E63 ('69 and '70) and an H in the VIN only tell you the car had a 383-4bbl. It does not tell you which assembly came in the car (contrary to a bunch of web sites, folk lore and printed material). Only the build sheet or the fender tag from a 69 or 70 Lynch Road built car tell you which assembly the car actually received.
Thanks to the great advice of 69Coronetrt, the Hamtramck web site has tons of very original information. I have posted some 'dealer basic' pages describing the engines for a 1969 Coronet. It is here that I see a description for the 383 four barrel and the 383 four barrel magnum. It makes reference to high lift, high performance cam shaft as well as a windage tray for the magnum engine. 'Hate to ask this but what is a windage tray?
Hope the pictures are useful.
And thanks again to 69Coronetrt for al the great descriptions and answers.
Also, how cool is all this stuff about folks finding cars one number apart - lots of fun.
