I have seen a few AM/FM radios for the '66-67 Coronets. I believe that they were a dealer installed "accessory" One just sold on EBAY - I was watching it and I believe it sold for roughly $270. It looks very simillar to the AM job except it has a square shaped red button on the facia. I believe the button switches the radio between AM & FM. I had my AM radio converted to FM - the best feature about it is that you can plug your IPOD into it.

Hello Jeff,
Can you provide a link to that AM/FM radio on ebay? This would be about the only option for the 1966 Dodge B-Body models, as there was no AM/FM radios offered by Chrysler for the 1966 Coronets and Chargers from the factory for cars sold in the U.S..

Richard, I have a dealer installed option book with the radio and part numbers in it. It's really busy for me now, but I'll try to look it up and maybe even scan it for you at some point.

From what I've been told, now this is coming from a/c body experts, is that the fm was a dealer option as the c body fm unit will fit in the factory locale. There was also an option I've seen on my cousins 1965 Monaco that has an Fm modulator?(not sure if that is the term) fitted below the dash with a fairly great factory look.
For a clean look with mine, since it has some maintence records on a very original sheet in my glove box, and whomever restored my car retroed it as radio delete, is running an iPhone dock in the ashtray in my 66 440, running that to a 4 channel amp that will run some 3 ways in the dash and 6x9s in the factory rear deck holes. Sorry guys, no subs.
Heres a few pictures of what I was thinking of buying.573574575
The guy claims this was in a 1967 Coronet and he removed it in the 70s to put an 8 track in.

I don't think that will fit a 67 Coronet.

Thank you very much for the link. I also purchased a printed copy of this 1966 accessory catalog and I'm unable to find any listings for AM/FM radios for the 1966 Coronet and Charger models.
The part numbers shown below in this catalog are the same as I quoted earlier from my 1966 factory parts book, model 232, part #2661221 for the Coronets and model 233, part #2661223 for the Chargers, both are AM only radios, so this catalog wouldn't have given dealerships any options for installing an AM/FM radio into the 1966 Dodge B-Body cars that I can see. Maybe I miss something?
As far as the 1966 Plymouth Belvedere and Satellite models, this 1966 accessory catalog also shows the same part numbers for the AM and AM/FM radios that I quoted from my 1966 factory [arts book.
Since most all of the 1966 Plymouth, Chrysler and Dodge C-Body models could have been ordered with both AM and AM/FM radios, it would be very interesting to find out why the 1966 Coronet and Charger models did not have that option for both style radios. Very strange indeed.
