New Steering Wheel
#11
honcho Wrote:Yea Richard, when I talked with Mike,he told me the 67 would not fit on a 66,then when I ordered the wheel,he wanted to see pics. Maybe tell him to log on here and see the wheel. I can't remember, are you running a 66 wheel or aftermarket?? I have a very very nice 66 horn ring that I need to get rid of,if anybody is interested and YOU will use it,pay the shipping and it's yours PM me if you want it!!!

Yes sir, I was using an aftermarket Grant steering wheel on my 1966 500 from 1990 through last year when I sold it along with the RCI fiberglass racing bucket seat that I was also using for Drag Racing Now that I will be restoring my cars interior back to a much more factory stock look, I will be using either a reproduction 1966 Black plastic 2 spoke factory style wheel which I've already purchased from Mike, along with a 1966 n.o.s. horn ring that I found on Ebay a few years ago, or I may do like you did and purchase one of the reproduction 1967 Black plastic 3 spoke wheels from Mike to use with an extremely nice 1967 3 spoke horn ring that I also found on Ebay a few years ago.

Thank you VERY much for your excellent offer for your 1966 horn ring though Todd! Cool We had another member here on the DCR that was looking for one not too long ago, but I'm not sure if he's still a member anymore or not, but I'm sure that someone here will be extremely interested in it my friend!
