26932694269526962697I am having the hardest time getting to reply or post on here ... not sure what is wrong. All the indicaters below say I can do all things ect... yet; when I try and send post on. Message says I can't !!! Gave up several times. So ... if this makes it on. Then I was lucky. so.. here goes
There are very few pictures... most are from when I hauled it home. ... or sitting up on storage rack. Looks like I figured this picture thing out added a little teaser pic.... at one time he had 4 Hemi cars in his home garage. 2 documented cars and 2 trubute type cars. Yellow challenger has 472 Hemi crate motor. Red car has cross ram 426 wedge. Sold a documented 70 Hemi Cuda with 28k miles a few years ago. ... and just sold a project 64 330 with a 528 crate hemi street drag car..(was going to be nostalgic looking on outside) He had many more toys than most of us can afford. I have been very blessed to be able to drive all of them... and yes... the 67 Hemi Coronet too ! I had his Hemi Challenger out last night to local cruise in... and took his mother for a ride in it. His wife came by and had tears streaming down her face. The Challenger was a birthday gift to her. She has yet to drive it. Hope to get her driving it this week sometime.... and take pictures. We just got it down from it's storage rack a few days ago. Enjoy

Really neat how the a/c was stuffed in the already stuffed engine compartment of the Challenger, I hope she get's to drive it soon. That would be nice.

Wow, how did I miss your intro?
Welcome to the site Cruizer. Sorry for your loss. That is one neat car and rare car. Pardon me while I drool. Steve is right on that there was only one made. Goviers' documentation should show that. Enjoy your new car.

Spots are from dirt on camera lense. Fun car to drive ... 472 cu in 525 hp hemi crate motor with added upgrade aggressive cam, headers and flow masters. Looks stock ... very nice sound with a little thump to back it up. Galen Govier documented this car too. Was a original 440 challenger dealer demo built for well knwon nascar sponser of the time. Thank's ws27 ... However; Car belongs to his wife ... not mine. I can't wait to see her drive it... I am sure there will be tears of sadness and joy for her. Would like to ad another note ... she is a twice surviving cancer, and stroke. It is one of my bucket items list for her. |
