Question : 67 Body work
#1
I,m sanding down some spots that have light surface rust on my 67. When I take it down to bare metal there,s still a black stain where the rust was . Does that stain have to come out too or will a primer with sealer keep the rust from coming back ? Thanks . BooBoo

To insure the rust won't return you can treat the metal first. One of the products available is Dupont 5717S. I This is professional stuff sold at automotive paint stores that carry Dupont products.http://pc.dupont.com/dpc/en/US/html/visi..._5717S.pdf
