Not happening just here but all over the world people are trying to get to remote islands or their second homes to avoid this thing. They are getting turned away left and right and told don't come back till it's over

Just got notified that Chryslers at Carlisle as well as all other events have been cancelled.
Just kidding! The only events affected are the spring swap meet and auction. Everything else is the same dates

you had me worried for a second! I know I just got another email from Carlisle but it didn’t say anything like that. Fingers crossed that this passes soon
11985 Can't wait to greet everyone in July!
Sorry about that guys, figured we needed something to get our minds off this POS
No big deal Mike, we enjoy your sense of humor.

I couldn't believe what we were seeing! You would of thought it was the 4th of July weekend. Every parking area was packed. There were people on biking, fishing, running, walking. Needless to say we didn't stick around.
Same in Raleigh.

People acting like this is exactly why this virus won't be leaving us soon. What will it take to get people to comply with all of the shelter in place orders in most all states?
Even if someone cares so little about their own health, PLEASE consider all of the first responders and medical personnel that will be forced to deal with you because you just had to go out and act as if nothing is happening in the world and end up coming down with this virus. They also have loved ones and friends who they have to stay away from so that they can take care of those who are sick.
I hope that those same types of people will also consider that their behavior is also affecting millions of people who can no longer go to work because so many are ignoring the shelter in place orders and becoming sick.
When someone skips a rock across a pond of water not only the water which is directed hit by the rock is affected, so is all of the surrounding water which is affected by the ripples in the water. Please help fix this problem and don't be a reason for it staying around one more day than it has to.
Sincerely, one of the high risk old guy's with health issues,
Richard
Spring Carlisle is now rescheduled to June 17, Auction is June 18/19 (no jokes this time)
More bad news for NJ/NY folks (an those that drive in from around the country to attend), both Lead East and Dead Man's Curve shows for Labor Day have been cancelled. If you had reservations for a spot and hotel room at Lead East they will put you back in them next year. DMC is just issuing refunds it looked like.
Instead, jump on your bike and head to Sturgis where you and 250,000 of your best friends can swap Covid infections and then bring em home..
