The front corner of the trunk extension was rusty. Made another patch from the aftermarket piece. Trying to keep the good original metal. There was a part number stamped on it so I made sure to save that.

I had never used a needle scaler before. Bought one to remove the undercoating. Works great! taking a wire wheel to it after that.
