Now that the cat is out of the bag, I can say that Max is probably one of the best handling and driving old Mopars I've driven. Rides smooth, and it handled the twisties in the mountain really good. I wasn't pushing it hard, but a few corners caught me by surprise and Max just ate it up. Very smooth power delivery.. it had lot of pull down low, and when pulling on the highway it definetely let you know there was more power available. You'd never know it had a dual quad setup on it, that's how smooth it was.

Could perhaps, that be due to the owner's level of mechanical expertise? Me thinks so!
Thanks guys we really love our cars and aren't anything fancy but we like to share when you have a true gear head like Mike that I can tell right off will respect the machine.
I look forward to our next meet up, I am sure there will be many more as long as I don't have to get on a plane .
We'll just give you some doggie downers, put on one of those virtual reality headsets showing Baywatch and you won't care you're in something with parts supplied by the lowest bidder..
Mike, I'm with Andy on the flying issue. After 28 years of constantly getting on one plane after another flying all over the country, I would just as soon stay on the ground now. Driving to get where I want to get doesn't sound too bad to me anymore. Of course the nice part of it is, I don't HAVE to travel for work anymore. Work is only according to MY rules now!
Does that mean Andy is driving to Carlisle?

Trust me.. if I had the time, I'd rather drive cross country than fly. I did it 3 times and loved every part of it.. Even the speeding ticket in Utah was worth it.. Beavis
I know what you mean, time is always an issue. Not sure I'd enjoy the ticket though.
