That is the nicest NOT ONLY NO, BUT F**K NO I've ever gotten from someone!
Throw in a nicely machined flywheel and a case of Carlsberg ?no free tickets to some crazy rollercoaster accepted.
11 or 10.5?
Sounds like a conversation to be having in the pub talking measurements like that
i'm not sure what the last posts were about..

Got word from my machinist.

Block is perfect, no cracks. Crank journal 2 was always not quite to spec in roundness, they are machining it to specs. Will line bore it, then bore the cylinders to 030. We will use 010 cam bearings.
You will not have any problem with the HP manifolds as long as the pipes have the flange oriented right. I put a set on my 64 Fury with absolutely no problem. I ordered my exhaust pipes from TTI. They need the manifold casting numbers, and will make the pipes to fit. I was very happy with their system!
HI all,

OK major updates.

A heap of orders are now in!

This is what I have gone with:

Pistons - Sealed Power Speed Pro Forged alloy flat tops, with their Sealed Power File-fit plasma moly ring set.

Exhaust - 2.5" PYPES Stainless X-Pipe system, plus 2 of the Pypes Race Pro stainless mufflers. QTP electric cut outs, with the stainless dump pipes and stainless turn downs. Plus their wireless activation system.

Intake - Edelbrock RPM Performer with a Holley 750 Ultra DP (electric choke)

Heads - Don Garlits Alloy, with Bruce Toth gasket matching, cleaning the bowls then fully porting it. Then he will install the springs and valves to match my cam before he sends them.

Rocker assembly - Hughes 1.6 ratio Premium CNC'd Alloy roller rockers, with shims, spacers and grooved shafts.

Cam - Hughes Hydraulic Roller Whiplash, Comp cams nylon thrust button. Cam is a 3 bolt.

Timing gear - Progear double row true roller, hardened gears, 2 degree increments, 9 key way

So should be some interesting times ahead very soon.

One of my heads being flow tested by Bruce Toth, from Toth performance. The heads are just roughed in, but Bruce cleaned one up and tested it to show me how we are going.
