My Black horn button is p/n 2660114, I also have a Tan one, it has the same p/n, boy that sure clears things up!
ws27 Wrote:Richard, I don't see any confusion on my end. I knew it was a valiant wheel.

Now if we could get Jeff to get us his part number on the back of the dodge button that would be awesome.

Also I wouldn't be surprised if the actual wheel was the same for all these.

Rich, the confusion is that your part number for the horn button is not listed in the 1964, or 1965 parts book like it should be.

The wood grain steering wheel itself does have the identical part number of 4016VTT for 1964, 1965 and 1966, but the applications are slightly different from year to year.

1964
Yellow Tan, w n r l m Codes PSB, P a , P5X,
P5Y, w/Mo&l W1, W 2 Barracuda.

1965
Yellow Tan, w/Three Spokes, w/Trim
Codes All (various A-Body models)

1966
Yellow Tan, w/Three Spokes, w/Trim
Codes. All. Wood Grain (various A & B-Body models)

Hi Jeff,

That part number doesn't come up as a valid part number, so I'm calling it a day, but I'll do more research tomorrow. I'm REALLY starting to HATE these wood grain steering wheel horn buttons! Rofl

Richard
By the way, the Silver convertible has been relisted as the previous auction closed without meeting the reserve. Final bid was $13,100.00 and there was a total of 24 bids.

Here's the new eBay listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/111305163887?_tr...EBIDX%3AIT

Thanks Jeff, although I though you had a chrome dodge button. I need to read more carefully. LOL
Ok, here are all of the part numbers listed for the 1966 and 1967 horn controls and I've marked each listing for the wood grain steering wheel related parts. Part number 2660114 is not shown, so I'm not sure why and I also checked in the interior trim section and the numerical part number listings in the back of each model years part book and did not find this part number in those sections either, so maybe someone else can let us know why these various horn button part numbers on your guy's two wood grain steering wheels are not listed along with the wood grain steering wheels in the factory parts books.

Here is a pic of the Dart steering wheel I mentioned above, Identical to the red car and the NOS wheel in the post.

Another thing I just noticed - the design of the chrome button goes much better with the design of tha Dart dash/interior than the the Coronet dash and interior design. JMHO.
Update - I can now say I HAVE seen a Citron Gold horn button...

I believe the p/n for the wheel itself is 4016 VTT used on A&B bodies only.
