Salvage Yard Coronets
#1
We went to an old bone yard a few weeks ago and saw a few old Coronets. Here are a few shots from that trip. I think the middle photo may have been a Meadowbrook but we took the moulding around the windshields for use on my Coronet.

RoadWorthy you might be surprised what might be relatively close to you. I would look into it soon though because many of the really old yards are disappearing fast like the one above. We made the trip because they are not sure if they will be around next year. Many of them are crushing the old cars and in many places the "Authorities" are trying to get rid of them.

I know this won't help most of you with these cars seeing as you live in the US, but 2 summers ago I was visiting friends in southern Saskatchewan, Canada. We went to several bone yards and you would be amazed at what we found! Most is for sale from model T's and A'
s up to 50's and 60's cars and trucks and many in amazing shape for auto-wrecker material! One bad thing though, most have pock-marked hoods and fenders and roofs/windshields from the decades of pounding hail the size of golf balls, but parts are avaliable. My friends neighbour still drives her 1955 Chevy 4-door and even in the snow!

those hail dents can be pounded out though, POS was made with real steel back then
