Interesting! In my 2001 catalog there is a P5249345 and a P5249347 but no P5249346. The P5249345 is a Hemi block and the P5249347 is a 440 both rough bored to 4.19.
The real interesting thing is that P5249346 is is the price sheet! It is about $150 less than the other 2 blocks for list price. But I cannot find any reference to it in the catalog.
Yes, the correct p/n is P5249347 - they gave me the incorrect # initially. The # supersedes to P4532568 then again to P5153944Ab, it is the smaller (bore size) of the two they make. It is located in Vermont so shipping would be costly.

Well, I've decided against the Mopar block - too much of a risk (distance, price, possible shipping damage ETC) I purchased another std bore block from a friend who is a Stock Eliminator racer - says he had it sonic checked and it can go .060. I'm going to have sonic'd again, "Trust but verify" - Ronald Reagan.

Update - The second block I bought sonic'd very favorably. I took it to Bob Mazzolini to make sure it was done right, so I have $750 wrapped up in block(s) so far. I've decided to go 30 over on this build. I'm behind on the updates and I'll try to get caught up over the next week. The heads are progressing - opened up to Max Wedge port window and ported (int & ex) they look beautiful too. Next is working on the chambers, mainly to unshroud the valves, then the valve job. I've pulled the old 8 3/4 and started mocking up the dana. I found some 10 inch wide ProStars and swapped the tires. Its a pretty tight fit in the wheel well - I've got about 3/8 clearance on either side.
