Update -
Got the intake back from the machine shop and the pushrods are being made now.
Finished up the cap ends of the plug wires. I had to buy a single MSD 8.5mm wire and re-do the #8 wire (too short) Can you believe a single wire costs $35!?

Glad to hear about your friend!
I'm surprised you didn't have to wait til March for the plug wire.

I bought another cleanable oil filter for my engine, this one is much smaller and wont interfere with the oil pump pick up line, I bought it from Bob Mazzolini Racing. it's expensive but I sold my System 1 filter for $100 so that made it easier to swallow. It is really trick. it's machined from billet and comes with a socket to install & remove it. Id say the only draw back is it will reduce the total oil capacity of the engine.

- [INDENT]More assembly, getting closer. I had to "install" both rocker assemblies twice. The left side had the exhaust rockers in the wrong spots so I had to remove it, swap rockers and re-install. Then on the right side I forgot to make sure the rocker shaft spacers were in the right spots, so I removed to check - good thing I did because the right side rockers would have been oil starved.
