If a man speaks while in his garage and his wife does not hear it, is he still wrong?
This is kinda nice . . .

I'm not a fan of the over sized wheels and thin side wall tires on the 66 and 67 Coronets, but the rest looks nice. That interior color scheme is what I'm changing my 66 Coronet 500's interior colors to. I wonder what they want for it.

Boobies!
I'm in agreement with Richard on this one, but it is easily remedied. Richard, what color white was used for the upper door frame paint? My 66 was repainted and it's sort of brightish white which looks really stupid right next to the pearl white door panels. I kind of like the black instead, but my car might have the wrong white used.

Hello Rich,
The only interior parts that were actually pearl white in a white interior on the 1966 and 1967 Coronets were the seats and door panels. As far as the interior door and quarter panel sheet metal colors for a white interior, Chrysler had two options for that sheet metal, a regular gloss white, or gloss black and of course the dashboard shell was painted an anti glare black with a black dash pad and the kick panels were black. They also offered the option of either a white or black headliner with the pearl white seats and door panels and the sun visors were either white or black depending on the color of the headliner. Armrest pads were usually always white, at least that I've ever seen and the armrest pads were a different shade of white than the seats, door panels and white headliner. This blue and white 66 looks to be fairly close to factory stock as far as the interior colors go, but having a white headliner with black door and quarter panel sheet metal may or may not be correct. I've learned over the years to NEVER say NEVER! LOL! I'll try to look up the interior paint codes for you tomorrow my friend. If you could give me your cars interior color code off of your fender tag, that would also be very helpful as I could decode it much faster that way. Richard P.S. I do agree with you that the black sheet metal makes the white door panels and seats really pop with the dark to light color variation. On my car, I'm going with a black headliner and black sun visors as well. White cloth headliners are a p.i.t.a. to keep clean!

This car would look better with white door tops IMO. Check out the 500 headlite bezels paired with a 440/Deluxe grille. One thing I really like is what they did with the trunk panel (blue paint)

Yep, they removed all of the 500 only trim level tail panel aluminium trim.
![]() With all of the correct 500 tail panel trim. ![]() As far as the black verses white inter door and quarter panel sheet metal colors, I prefer the black over the white myself, as it really makes the pearl white seats and door panels pop and having different shades of white right next to each other isn't my favorite. If I was going to paint the sheet metal white, then I'd have a white headliner and if the sheet metal is black then I'd use a black headliner. Just my opinion though. Another 66 with the white inner sheet metal and white headliner. ![]() ![]() The Ebay 66 with black sheet metal and white headliner. ![]() ![]() ![]() Richard

Thanks Richard.
Notice on the one pic you have the rear passenger interior quarter with white upper frame paint. The white is too bright IMHO and makes the panel look "scuzzy" ( term my friend and interior guy referred to on my panels) LOL
