It looks like ours has residue of turquoise paint. An ad for a '67 shows the 440 and fuel pump looks natural unpainted. I know ads are just that but wondering? Experiences?
ALSO water pump heater hose nipples? Painted or not?
I got into a BIG discusion on the 69 1/2 M code Roadrunner and Super Bee facebook page about this! It appears some were installed prior to painting, so weren't. I think the "nipples" were installed just before painting. Anybody got an origininal unrestored pics to look at?

Here are pics of what came off the engine. Traces of paint on all sides. Could it have been replaced-painted before install-engine work and freshening up? Who knows! Almost 50yrs of anythings possible!

I talked to the guys on FB 66-67 B-bodys, Hemi fuel pumps were installed AFTER the block was painted and the 440's on down were ON the block when it was painted.
